Hi! It’s a sunny summer day and my flowers are blooming with brilliant colors. I love seeing the beauty of Nature and living as natural as I can.
I was invited by Mary from Back To Basics to join an adventure through the world of blogs. I meet Mary through another blogging friend that had hosted the weekly blog hop”Real Food Fridays” and asked me to be co-host. Mary is a host too. I have been following her ever since. Mary sells Heirloom seeds, promotes organic foods, gardening, and living a healthier lifestyle. I love her tips and ideas on organic gardening and helping people to find solutions to gardening problems such as pests through natural and organic ways that are healthy for our environment and our bodies. She grows plants from tiny seeds that she shares each step and process of her projects with her followers. I have learned so much from Mary’s knowledge.
And now on to the tour!
1. What Am I Working on?
I am co-hosting the weekly blog hop – Real Food Fridays that is near and dear to my heart. It is about eating real food and sharing recipes, ideas and tips about organic gardening and food with bloggers.
I participate in promoting and posting giveaways that are organic, natural and start from Nature. I have promoted products that I know are healthy, safe, and environmentally friendly for companies. I have and do reviews on products that I know meet my standards of safety (which is truly natural, non-toxic to the earth, people, or animals) and that they contain no harmful chemicals or ingredients. If I wouldn’t use it and wouldn’t want you to.
I love DIY products for personal care and have many homemade recipes on my website. Many I have tried and used myself.
My mission is to help change and educate as many people as I can on the dangers and toxicity that is in our food, air, water, and personal care products that many people use daily. I want to help make this a safer healthier world for all of us.
2. How Does My Work Different From Others Of It’s Genre?
I have lived for over 20 years with MCS (Multiple Chemical Sensitivities) or Environmental Illness. I have many allergies including food, seasonal, chemical and that has given me great insight into how much change is needed in how we eat, in our healthcare system works and how we look and treat disease. I strongly believe we need to prevent disease instead of treating symptoms. I believe in alternative medicine, herbal and natural remedies and use them as a daily part of my life. We need to get back to Nature before we destroy our planet. Nature provides us with so much healing if only we take the time to learn and utilize it’s powers.
Why Do I Write/Create What I Do?
I use my website to help inform and share knowledge about living a green lifestyle in all aspects from green energy to personal care products. I feel the key to changing our toxic world is through education. It is my passion to help other people be informed about the many dangers and to help stop the chronic disease that I believe is from the many toxins that surround us and that we put on and in our bodies, that has caused many or our health and environmental problems.
I feel it is my duty to help others since I have felt the devastating effects in my own life of what toxicity can do to your health and change your life completely.
4. How Does Your Writing/Creative Process Work?
Sometimes I have a plan and others times I don’t. I will read an article on the internet or magazine, see something on TV, or it might be about something I am currently experiencing in my own life that sparks an idea which I do more research and find out all I can about it. If it is something I feel might help others or educate them I feel it is my duty to share this information. Occasionally I have people send me articles and if I feel they this information should be shared then I will post that article to help educate in every way I can.
